Screening of Linotype: The Film

Posted on Jul 17, 2012

We are pleased to announce that the C.C. Stern Type Foundry has organized a screening of Linotype: The Film in conjunction with the ATF Conference. This function will be the social event for Thursday evening, and the ticket to the film is included in all general session and guest registrations for the conference. The screening will be held at the McMenamins Kennedy School Theater. A “Meet & Greet” in the Kennedy School Library with Linotype operators and printers will be held at 6 p.m., followed by the film screening at 7 p.m. The filmmaker, Doug Wilson, will be in attendance, and time will be available for Q&A after the screening.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase from the Kennedy School Theater and Library, and will help offset the costs of the event. The screening is funded in part by the Regional Arts & Culture Council. (Thanks, RACC!)

Tickets will also be available to the public for $10, so if you know Portland locals who aren’t attending the conference, but would be interested in seeing the film, please spread the word.
